I didn’t think I’d ever need support for something like Cancer. I’m only 30 after all.
In the coming weeks I will be recovering from a double Masectomy with nipple and breast reconstruction.
I am fortunate to have a job. However, I am only guaranteed my position for 12 weeks and all my time off is unpaid. My out of pocket costs are $3,500. In addition I am losing $4,000 + in income.
