Kelsey began her ISSF shooting career in 2024, competing in air rifle, smallbore three-position, smallbore prone, and three-position air rifle. In a remarkably short time, she has emerged as one of the nation’s top junior athletes—earning the title of two-time Colorado Junior Prone Champion, winning the 2025 USA Shooting Junior Olympic U15 National Championships in both air rifle and smallbore, and setting 17 U.S. National Records. Kelsey has also distinguished herself in 3PAR JROTC competition, winning regional championships and placing second at JROTC Nationals by just 0.1 points. Her dedication, discipline, and talent have now earned her selection to represent Team USA April 19th-27th at the 2026 ISSF Junior World Cup in Cairo, Egypt, where she will compete in Women’s 50-meter smallbore and Women’s 50-meter prone.
This opportunity is a dream come true, but it comes with significant financial demands. Funds raised will help cover essential expenses associated with international competition, including the ISSF permit, travel, and lodging. Your support allows Kelsey to focus fully on her training and performance while representing the United States on the world stage.
As a military child who has moved frequently, Kelsey found stability and belonging within the shooting sports community. She currently trains at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center and is passionate about inspiring other young athletes to explore shooting sports. Kelsey hopes to show youth that shooting offers incredible opportunities—from scholarships to competing for U.S. military academies. Her ultimate goal is to qualify for the Olympics and to help grow the sport by sharing her journey. You can follow Kelsey’s progress on Instagram at @Kdardasrifle. Thank you for supporting Kelsey and helping her pursue her dreams.
