Help Kelsey Moss Battle Aggressive Breast Cancer
Donation protected
First/Foremost, Thank You in advance for your thoughts and prayers, for we know that God -answers them. Please help support Kelsey as she begins her battle to beat – breast cancer!
A couple of weeks ago, on 03/04/25 she was diagnosed with Triple-negative Invasive Ductal & Lobular Breast Cancer, which is an aggressive type of acute cancer. TNBC differs from other types of invasive breast cancer in that it tends to grow and spread
faster, has fewer treatment options, and tends to have a worse prognosis.
The term triple-negative invasive breast cancer refers to the fact that the cancer cells don’t have estrogen or progesterone receptors (ER or PR) and also don’t make any or too much of the protein called HER2. (The cells test "negative" on all 3 tests.)
Kelsey has worked in Memory Care and in the Healthcare Field for the past five (5) years, and has dedicated herself to providing a better quality of life for both Alzheimer’s/Dementia Residents; which anyone who knows her see’s, she loves on them and treats them as family.
As a single, 31-year-old (self-supporting young woman) this diagnosis is taking away the ability for her to work in a career that she loves. So, with regret (last week) she had to resign from her salaried position to focus on her health and her treatment.
People (like her) diagnosed with a life-altering illnesses experience multiple types of medical expenses that generate financial distress and strain their income. Many turn to medical crowdfunding to mitigate the harms of these costs on their health and quality of life.
This is why, as her family and friends we have set-up a fundraiser through God Fund Me in order to help support some of her alternative healthcare expenses and offset any of her unmet monthly expenses, such as: rent and living expenses over the next year, while she fights through this battle.
Her journey begins on 03/24, when she will have a surgery to have a port inserted for Chemotherapy, which should take approximately 6-8 months; followed by another surgery, which will include a double mastectomy; and then (lastly) a reconstruction surgery.
Thank You in advance for your prayer coverage and any support assistance you may be able to provide. Please feel free to share this weblink with your bible studies, family, and friends.
