Kelly and her family have been through an incredibly difficult time after severe flooding hit their home in Washington State. The floodwaters destroyed nearly everything they owned, leaving them without the essentials they need to live day to day. Insurance has not covered many of these losses, making it even harder for Kelly and her family to recover and rebuild.
Kelly’s household includes two adults, four children (two under school age, including a one-year-old baby), and her 81-year-old grandmother, who needs special care and now requires a handicap ramp to safely enter and exit the home. On top of that, her oldest child has Asperger’s, making this upheaval even more challenging for the family. The loss of so much and the need to start over has been overwhelming, and the emotional toll is heavy.
Kelly was on the fence about asking for help, but she truly needs it right now. Any contribution will make a real difference for her family as they recover from this disaster. Your kindness and support mean the world to us, and will help Kelly’s family get back on their feet, replace what was lost, and provide stability for the children and their grandmother.
