Help Kelly’s family during her AVM brain surgery

Hello, My name is Lacy Anderson and I am fundraising money for my Life long best friend Kelly Grady. 2 years ago she had a seizure out of no where that resulted in hitting her head hard. She went to the hospital where they found a spot on her brain that they decided to watch while giving her medication to help limit the seizures. On 4/17/2024 she had another seizure resulting in a 3 day hospitalization where they discovered she has an AVM which is brain arteriovenous malformation (AVM) is a tangle of blood vessels that creates irregular connections between arteries and veins in the brain. Arteries take oxygen-rich blood from the heart to the brain. Veins carry oxygen-depleted blood back to the lungs and heart. A brain AVM disrupts this vital process. This means she will need brain surgery to remove this and recovery time is anywhere from 2 to 6 months. Kelly is the sole provider of her family. She has 3 boys to take care of and during this time she will not be able to work and pay her bills. We are hoping to raise enough money to help pay all her bills and give her less stress. Without this surgery it can be life threatening but yet she can not have the surgery if she can not afford to keep a roof over her family’s heads. Anyone who knows Kelly knows she is definitely a survivor. She did not have the easiest life growing up and over came many obstacles life threw at her on her own. She has manage to pull her and her kids out of homelessness all on her own and she has done an absolutely amazing job raising her 3 boys. Kelly never ask for help but this time she really needs it.
