Hi, my name is Kelly Lopez, and I’m reaching out with deep humility and hope.

In 2015, my life was forever changed when I was hit by a drunk driver. That crash left me with injuries I still carry today — not just physically, but emotionally and financially. The chronic pain I live with daily is a constant reminder of something that should never have happened.

Even though the driver who hit me was clearly at fault, he was never held accountable. The legal system failed to enforce the $11,000 judgment he owes me. I’ve exhausted every option available to collect what is rightfully mine, but I have no realistic way to enforce it. In the meantime, my medical bills have kept coming, and so has the pain.

For years, I’ve tried to manage on my own. I’ve pushed through surgeries, therapy, doctor visits, and the emotional toll of knowing that the person who caused this still walks free without consequence. But I’m at a point where I can’t do it alone anymore.

I'm raising funds to help cover ongoing medical expenses, pain management treatments, and mobility aids that insurance won’t fully cover. Every dollar will go directly toward helping me find some relief and stability — something that was taken from me in that moment back in 2015.
