I am facing severe side effects from taking a fluoroquinolone antibiotic called Ciprofloxacin, which has disrupted my intestinal microbiome and caused connective tissue malfunction in my feet, ankles, and Achilles tendons. This has led to metatarsal joint pain and mitochondrial dysfunction, making it nearly impossible for me to stand for more than a few minutes. Over the past two years, my ability to walk has steadily declined, and I now rely on canes and walkers to get around. The pain is constant, and without intervention, I may soon be wheelchair-bound.

After a year-long leave of absence from my job, I have tried numerous treatments, including laser therapy, physical therapy, and various supplements, but none have provided lasting relief. One of the only options left is Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber Therapy (HBOT), which is not covered by insurance for my condition. It also has potential to restore my intestinal microbiome by supporting healthy bacteria and removing toxins.
