I’m Kelly, and I’m creating this fundraiser for my family and me because we are at risk of losing everything we own. We had to relocate out of state and spent every dime we had just to get here. When we first moved, we couldn’t find work right away, and during that time we fell behind on our storage payments. Now all of our money goes to rent, bills, and trying to keep our household afloat, but we still haven’t been able to catch up. On top of that, the storage company has added fees and increased the monthly rate, which has made it feel impossible to get ahead. We have just a few days before our storage goes to auction.

Inside that storage is so much more than just stuff. It holds my truck, my photography work, racing memorabilia, clothing, family photos, and the important belongings of my wife and kids. These are the things that tell the story of our lives and the things we worked hard for. I’ve never asked for help before, and honestly, it’s embarrassing to be in this position, but I am asking now with a humble heart.
