Kelly is my friend of 9 years, and he is someone who has always gone above and beyond for his community. Recently, Kelly faced a devastating setback. He paid a large sum to a contractor to finish construction on his oceanfront condo - a place that was a deeply cherished gift from his late mother. The contractor assured Kelly the work would be completed this past fall, but when Kelly returned, no work had been done and the contractor had disappeared with his money.
This loss has been especially painful because Kelly’s mother passed away by suicide. The condo was not just a home - it was one of the last tangible connections he had to her, and completing it was his way of honoring her memory and the love she poured into his life. Having that dream disrupted so suddenly has taken an enormous emotional and financial toll.
Despite everything, Kelly’s spirit remains strong. Every morning, as the sun rises over the beaches, he’s outside tending the gardens of the building, bringing beauty and care to the place he calls home. He knows everyone in the building by name, and his kindness, consistency, and generosity have made a real difference in the lives of those around him. Kelly has poured his heart and resources into this home not just for himself, but as a way to give back to his building and the greater North Myrtle Beach community.
The funds raised here will go directly toward hiring a new, trustworthy contractor to finally complete the renovations his mother would have wanted for him. Kelly has always been there for others, and now he needs a little help to move forward after a recent breach of trust involving a contractor operating as ER Home LLC. Any support you can give will mean the world to him and help restore hope during an incredibly difficult chapter.
If you are a reliable, licensed contractor who would be willing to help Kelly restore his late mother’s condo and move forward after her passing, we would love to hear from you.
Thank you so much for reading, sharing, and supporting Kelly.
