Help Kelly Rebuild His Life After a Devastating Arson Fire
Donation protected
Kelly lost everything in an arson house fire. His home, belongings, and retirement plans. He now faces rebuilding from nothing while caring for horses, dogs, goats, chickens, ducks, and turkeys. Please help him start over.
My name is Christopher Stockall, and I’m starting this fundraiser on behalf of my father, Kelly Stockall, who lost everything in a heartbreaking and traumatic house fire. The fire was deliberately set by his ex in a heartbreaking act of destruction, during what seemed to be a deeply unstable and desperate moment. In an instant, everything he had built was turned to ash. She poured gasoline throughout the house and set it ablaze. The house burned to the ground. Nothing was salvageable. He lost his home, his belongings, his tools, and years of memories, all gone in a matter of minutes.
Me and my dad
My dad has always been one of the hardest-working people I know. He spent his life outdoors hunting, fishing, and caring for animals. He has taught me the value of honest work and dedication. He was just about to retire after decades of labor, always putting others first and asking for little in return. He’s the kind of person who would drop everything to help a neighbor, often working for little or nothing just to lend a hand. Kind, humble, and generous to a fault, he didn’t deserve this.

To make matters worse, my dad had no fire insurance. After years of intense wildfires in our region, insurance companies stopped issuing fire coverage altogether. Like many others in the area, he was left unprotected through no fault of his own. He bought the home 10 years ago, and together we spent countless hours fixing it up, making it a warm, comfortable place to live and retire.
This isn’t just about a house. He’s 65 years old and was planning to retire this year. Now, he may have to keep working indefinitely, with little savings, no home, and nowhere to go. It’s devastating to see someone who has worked so hard his entire life have everything taken away so senselessly.
On top of that, he cares for a number of animals who depend on him. Thankfully, none were harmed in the fire. He’s caring for:
• 3 dogs
• 3 horses
• A herd of goats
• Chickens, ducks, and turkeys
They all survived, but like him, they’ve lost their shelter and stability. He now faces the overwhelming task of caring for them while trying to rebuild from nothing.
I’m asking for your help to raise money so my dad can rebuild his life, to find a new place to live, replace essential items, and hopefully have a chance at the peaceful retirement he deserves.
Any amount helps. Even just sharing this page makes a difference.
Thank you so much for reading and for your support.
