Help Kelly Offer Free Bereavement Photography

Hello,

My name is Kelly and I’m the owner of Rose Colored Lens Photography. I have recently gotten media attention for a bereavement session I did for a beautiful army veteran with stage 4 lymphoma and her daughters. I do bereavement sessions for a variety of clients for free. I’d love to be able to offer these to as many people as I can so I’ve decided to create a nonprofit to do just that.

I am starting from scratch and I need some help with the start up/filing fees and to open a studio location to make the process easier on future clients.

My goal is to be able to offer these sessions to hospice centers, cancer hospitals and birthing units, etc., at no cost to the clients. Everyone deserves to have photos of their loved ones- especially their last moments. It helps tremendously during the grieving process and I think it should be a basic service offered that you can help me normalize!
