Help Support Kelly Lamb In Her Medical Recovery

Hi Everyone. It's Jon Dawes and Dannikke Walkker, Kelly's long time production co-workers. Thank you all so much for inquiring & sending healing wishes to Kelly as she is struggling with her current medical emergency.

As many of you know and some may have wondered - during Kelly's last commercial production she experienced severe abdominal pains and went to the ER where she was diagnosed with pancreatitis and kidney failure. After 7 days in the ICU and 5 more days at Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital, she FINALLY made it home. However, she will be out of work for the next few months (maybe more) as she fully recovers.

We had hoped once she got out of the hospital she would be able to return to work. Unfortunately, her kidneys haven't bounced back and she is now required to undergo dialysis 3 times a week for the unforeseen future. Right now, she must be fully focused on her recovery and health. This leaves her completely out of work. As a non-union freelancer there is no sick pay or paid leave of absence when we are faced with these types of challenges. After every three-hour session of dialysis she is left drained and exhausted for the entire day! And for some strange f*ed up reason she does not qualify for disability!! Thankfully she has an HMO provided through PHBP, but the out-of-pocket expenses and medical deductibles are going to hit the max for this year and the next. She is burning through her savings fast and the full amount of medical debt will be well beyond what we're hoping to raise here.

We know this is the most expensive time of year for you. But we also know you love Kelly as much as we do, and that you would WANT to help. If everyone who recognizes the name Kelly Lamb from a callsheet or email you’ve received in the past 10 years can chip in $5-$10, this film community she knows and loves should be able to make a huge dent in her medical & living expenses. Let's ALL show Kelly our support so she can concentrate 100% on getting better!!!
