This is for my beautiful sister Kelly Brewer Herrada before I tell you about the ugly cancer she is fighting, I want to tell you how awesome this woman truly is. Kelly is the type of person who lights up a room when she walks in, she loves God, life, and all his creations!  She touches everyone’s heart by simply being her!  Kelly has a huge support group because she is so loved!  Whenever someone realizes she’s my little sister I get an ear full on how amazing this woman is I am so blessed to call my sister!

Kelly is a 36 years old female who was recently diagnosed with triple negative invasive ductal carcinoma. On August 9th she had a lumpectomy done in Kansas and the doctor stated that he got it all. They went to the oncologist in her home town where they said the surgeon didn’t get it all and from there Kelly wanted to get a second opinion.  She went down to MD Anderson TX.  She saw a breast surgeon and had further testing done. The surgeon said that he will have to go in and get clear margins before starting chemo. He ordered an MRI to which the cancer has grown in the cavity where they removed the lump and 2 more spots that looks suspicious.

This means a longer then expected stayed, possibly multiple trips, plus the amount of time away from work for her and her very supportive husband.
