Hello, my name is Audriana Olson, and I created this GoFundMe on behalf of my sister, Kelly Gomez.

In April, just after giving birth to her third child, Kelly suffered a stroke due to a brain hemorrhage. She underwent emergency brain surgery and spent the last four months in a rehabilitation facility working hard to recover. In mid-August, she was released—not because she was fully healed, but because the facility could no longer keep her.

We truly see God’s hand in her healing. Kelly is taking it one day at a time, and despite everything she’s been through, she continues to shine her light and encourage everyone around her. As believers, we hold onto the promise of Romans 8:28 — “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.”

Now, Kelly is home with her husband and three young children. She still has a long road ahead, especially with continued home therapy that's vital to her recovery. Unfortunately, her insurance will not waive the co-pays for these sessions, and the costs are quickly adding up. Since Kelly is on leave from work, she’s only receiving disability income, and her husband is doing his best to manage all the household bills on his own.
