Help Kelly Freeze Her Eggs Before Chemo

Hello all! Earlier in the year my dear friend Kelly was told she had a 13.5cm mass around her heart. After multiple biopsy’s and many tests, she has officially been diagnosed this past week with Hodgkin's lymphoma. Bills have started to pile up and she will likely be out of work for sometime. Tomorrow she will get her chemo port put in, and with the start of chemo, a new concern has presented itself - preserving her fertility.

When hearing that I would put together this gofundme for her, Kelly asked to include a letter of her own:

I am reaching out to you today with a vulnerable heart and a hopeful spirit as I embark on a journey to preserve my fertility while facing the challenging battle against Hodgkin's lymphoma. My name is Kelly Pena and at 28, I have been diagnosed with this formidable disease. As I undergo the necessary treatments to combat Hodgkin's lymphoma, I am also confronted with the harsh reality that these treatments may compromise my ability to conceive in the future. Therefore, I am turning to the kindness and generosity of others in the form of this GoFundMe campaign to help me finance the costly procedure of freezing my eggs. Kelly is one of the kindest, most wonderful people I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. I remember the day she walked into my old work for an interview back in 2015. She was decked out in a sparkly skirt and I thought she was crazy and wild and I knew she would be my friend. She got the job, sparkly skirt and all, and our friendship was set in stone. I have loved her fiercely since that very day and I hope that you can help me, help my friend in this trying time.
