Physical therapy is set up.

Donation protected

I got half my staples out this morning. The rest will come out on the 15th. They wanted to leave some in because of the size of the incision. I have in home physical therapy. Inpatient really didn't go anywhere i was very frustrated and upset but pulled it together and went about it the right way.
In home therapy will be 3 times a week for the first 2 weeks and 2 days a week for the next 2 weeks. Then they will reevaluate and see what the next steps are for therapy.
Cancer doctor wants my back to be completely healed before Cancer treatment. They are going to do radiation treatment on my back first. Which I hope takes care of my back and hopefully any other bone problems. I need to put on weight and muscle while my back heals. I've lost 25 pounds while being sick. Not a recommended weight loss program. Next step will be lung cancer which they hope immune therapy will help. If it doesn't they will add chemo. Really hoping we do not have to go that route. That is still a couple months away so we will see what happens.
I'm home in good spirits. Just wanted to update everyone so you all know.  Anyone who knows someone thinking about inpatient rehab places check out the place and they offer what they say they do. Covid changes a lot of things. This picture was today before they took staples out.
