I wouldn’t be asking if it wasn’t important. Kelly is one of the most luminous people I know, and right now she’s fighting stage 4 cancer with everything she has. She’s jobless, advocating for her own care, and trying to find progressive doctors who will see her potential for healing. She needs us — to take some of the weight off her shoulders so she can keep going.

✨ An Update on Kelly’s Healing Journey ✨

A fierce fighter. A radiant soul. A mother and creator who refuses to give up.

Many of you know Kelly’s story — her diagnosis with stage 4 gastric cancer, her incredible strength, and the way she continues to approach this journey with courage, creativity, and grace.

Since her healing retreat in Denmark this summer, Kelly has continued to explore every possible avenue of healing. But the road has not been easy.

After her diagnosis, Kelly lost her job. She suddenly lost her financial stability and benefits, right when she needed them most. Since then, she’s been working freelance in marketing, digital design, and her own art — but the reality is, cancer is a full-time job, and she simply cannot keep up with both.

Recently, Kelly had to undergo surgery and now lives with an ostomy bag after the cancer spread and caused a new blockage. This has been a major adjustment — physically, emotionally, and financially.

On top of that, she’s been struggling to build a consistent medical team. Her care is scattered across different providers, and she’s still seeking palliative support that can unify her treatments. She’s been forced to advocate for herself at every turn — navigating complex medical systems largely on her own.

And yet, through it all, she keeps showing up.

She keeps choosing life.

She keeps fighting for her daughter, for her future, and for her art.

There is so much life in Kelly still — and so many gifts she’s meant to share with the world. She needs every bit of support possible: from progressive and innovative doctors who are willing to explore beyond the standard prognosis, and from a community who can help give her the financial foundation to pursue those chances.

Now, more than ever, she needs us.
