My name is Kelly, and I’m a trans person living in Tennessee—one of the most difficult states for trans people right now. On top of that, I’m disabled, which makes it even harder to find safety and stability. Every day, I feel the pressure of living in an environment that isn’t supportive or safe for people like me, and it’s become clear that I need to make a change for my own well-being.
My dream is to build and fix up a camper van so I can leave Tennessee and move to a place where I can live authentically and safely. The ultimate goal is to reach Canada, where I hope to find a more accepting community and a better quality of life. The funds raised will go directly toward repairing and outfitting my van, covering travel expenses, and helping me start fresh in a new, supportive environment.
If you’re not sure how to make a direct impact for someone in my situation, helping me get out before things get worse—or before it becomes too late—would mean the world to me. Any support, whether it’s a donation or simply sharing my story, brings me one step closer to safety and hope for the future. Thank you for caring and for being part of this journey.
