Hi! My name is Chelsea and I am raising money to help my dear friend Kelly. In mid May, at the age of 31, Kelly suddenly had a stroke. She lost mobility in her right arm, leg and lost some speech. Kelly was admitted to the hospital for almost 6 weeks. She has gained back a portion of her speech and some mobility in her arm and leg. With a walker, Kelly is able to have some mobility around the house.

Upon Kelly’s stroke, she was diagnosed with a hole in her heart. It was discovered that this hole played a huge part in her stroke. In 6 months Kelly will have to go to the Heart Institute to have this hole repaired.

Unfortunately, some of the medical expenses are not covered by OHIP or her insurance. This go fund me is to help Kelly make the small adjustments to her house and to help her pay for the AFO she needs as well as some of the medication she needs. These things will help her be independent without assistance.
