If you know Kelly Barnes, you know her as a beacon of positivity and love. She is also one of the first people to show up when things get tough. She has been an unwavering source of strength and inspiration for so many of us, standing by our sides through our dark days with her trademark kindness and humor: Making us food (her love language) and making us laugh.

The Journey Ahead
Recently, Kelly received the news that no one is ever prepared for: she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. We currently know that the cancer has reached the lymph nodes on one side and there is a tumor on the other.
Because of the aggressive nature of this fight, Kelly’s path to recovery will include:
Surgery: She will definitely require a mastectomy, with the possibility of a double mastectomy.
Extensive Treatment: A rigorous schedule of treatments to ensure the cancer is fully addressed.
Recovery Time: Significant time away from work to focus on healing and physical therapy.
