Help Kelly and Pete in Their Time of Need

My name is Lisa McCollum Spencer. Along with Stephanie Smith Mika and Sandra Castillo Swallow, we are raising funds for our best friend, Kelly Lofland Richards and her husband Pete.

Kelly has suffered an acute illness that has prevented her from working. Her husband, Pete, has been by her side and has not been able to return to his job yet, as he doesn’t want to leave her.

Kelly was transferred on March 12 from Victoria to Corpus Christi for a higher level of care. She has a team including cardiovascular, hematology, and nephrology doctors doing their best to take care of her.

There is a long road ahead for Kelly, and we are humbly asking for any assistance you can offer, whether it be monetary or in prayer. We want Kelly and Pete to be able to focus on her health and healing and not have to worry about medical bills and daily living expenses.

Kelly has been in our lives since grade school. We love her as a sister and would do anything for her, as she would for us. That is why we humbly ask for any assistance you can give as they navigate through this very difficult time.
