We are raising funds for Kelly, Hector and their children as they face ongoing immigration legal expenses that have pushed their family into a financial crisis.
On November 3, 2025, Hector was pulled over in Palm Harbor and arrested after a traffic stop, without cause. He faced a nightmare of three different detention centers, including Alligator Alcatraz, where he was fed rotten food and not taken to his court date at Krome. Since he missed that, ICE moved him to Colorado with no warning.

In February 2026, an immigration judge in Colorado granted Hector a $5,000 bond so he could be reunited with Kelly and the children. While that reunion was a huge relief, the legal fight did not end there. Hector's case is still ongoing, and the legal fees have continued to drain their savings.
Kelly and Hector are also caring for four dependents, and the weight of these costs on top of legal fees that are weighing heavily on them has made it difficult to keep up with their mortgage. To save their home from foreclosure, Kelly had to take out short-term loans. The first use of funds will be to repay $16,000 in those loans so the family can regain some stability while continuing to face this case.
Because this need is ongoing, recurring donations would make a real difference by helping Kelly and Hector keep up with continuing legal costs and housing pressure over time. One-time donations are also deeply appreciated and will help immediately.
If you’re able to give or share this fundraiser, your support will help Kelly and Hector protect their home, care for their children, and stay afloat while this case continues. Thank you for standing with their family.
