Last night, my mom, her husband, and their five kids experienced a devastating house fire. While everyone was asleep, one of the kids noticed the flames outside their window and quickly alerted the rest of the family. Thanks to their quick thinking, everyone—including their pets—was able to escape safely. Unfortunately, the fire destroyed everything inside the house, including all their clothes and personal belongings.

If anyone knows my momma, you know she is the most amazing, kind, and hardworking woman. She has always put her children first, and now they are facing the unimaginable challenge of starting over with nothing. The loss has left them without a home and without the essentials they need to get through each day. As her daughter, I am reaching out to ask for help for my family during this difficult time.
