If you know Kelli, you love her. While she may be slightly mortified by this effort, we know the community around her will be eager to offer practical support in the coming months as she faces major surgery and a complex recovery.

On August 14th, Kelli will undergo a hysterectomy and will be on strict bedrest for a minimum of 8 weeks. As many of you know, Whims is Kelli’s passion and top priority — but like many small businesses in their first few years, it doesn't turn a profit for her as an owner (yet!). She supplements her family's income with side gigs and substitute teaching, which she won’t be able to do for at least two to three months following surgery.

On top of the loss of income, medical bills and extra childcare expenses will quickly add up, as Leo will be solo parenting their two children while he is still working full time.
