Hello FaceBook friends and family. My name is Linda, and I am Kelli's cousin. As you may or may not know, Kelli has been courageously battling cancer for a second time for the past several months. She has bravely tried to do this quietly in the background so as to maintain a somewhat normal life for her family. She has continued on in her typical loving, compassionate, and self sacrificing way as a wife, mother, Nanny, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend. Kelli has been pulled away from the work and work family she adores since December. She traveled to MD Anderson in Houston for treatment and is now traveling to Chicago for treatment. She will be receiving a new FDA approved treatment for advanced melanoma late July. She is extremely fortunate to be a candidate for this life saving treatment. As a cancer survivor, I understand well the emotional, physical, and financial strain this can put on a family. I am establishing this fund to help the family cover out of pocket travel, meals, lodging and any other out of pocket expenses they have already or may incur.
