Help Kelley CAN Cancer
Kelley Herhold is a beloved special education teacher at Highland Park High School who has served young adults in the department for the last 7 years. Two weeks ago, she was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer and will be having surgery to remove her thyroid. As many of you know, Kelley not only serves the young adults at HPHS, but she also works two other jobs in her off time and remains attentive and available to the families both on and off the clock. On top of the recent cancer diagnosis, Easter weekend her apartment suffered water damage after the neighbor above her had a fire. She is now forced to find a new place to live. Kelley is such an amazing team member, always committed to caring for not only her students, parents and colleagues but serving people in the community as well. She is not one to ask for help, yet consistently goes the extra mile. Please consider donating to help offset the cost of surgery, recovery, and moving. She will require extra assistance with the move since it is the week after surgery. Thank you for your prayers, support, well wishes and donations. They are more than appreciated.
