Hi, it's Kelle.

For the past 30 years, I've dedicated my life to helping animals: wildlife, domestics, farmed animals, everyone who needed care and a voice.

Now, I find myself needing help, too.

After several difficult years including unemployment, health challenges, and rebuilding from burnout and loss, I'm finally on the verge of getting back on my feet, but I've run out of resources, money, and time. It's painful to admit, but I've fallen behind on rent and am in immediate danger of losing my home. It's just me and 'my' rescued companion cat, Felipe -- he was abandoned by a neighbor, that's how I found out his name.

I'm asking for help to bridge the gap and catch up on rent so we can stay housed, find work, and continue the healing and recovery I've worked so hard for. I’m doing everything I can to hold on and keep moving forward.

I know times are tough for many people right now. Any amount you are able to give truly helps; it adds up quickly and will make a real difference in helping me and Felipe get through this last hard stretch.
