Hi, my name is Kelby West. I’m only 9 years old, and my family and I are going through a tough journey. I was recently diagnosed with Crohn’s disease and had to have an emergency surgery. It’s been scary, but I’m healing and staying strong.

Because my treatments and procedures are in Atlanta, we have to travel back and forth often. This means paying for gas, food, hotel stays, and missing days of work. I’ve had to switch to homeschooling due to all the travel and recovery. Bills are piling up, and we are doing our best to keep everything together while still making sure I get the care I need.
