Help Kel gain justice and reclaim their life and belongings

Hello, I’m fundraising some money to help my best pal Kel who’s just had all of their belongings stolen from a corrupt landlord without notice and now is trying to pick up the pieces.

If you can, anything will help to get back on track. Kel is an incredible artist and person and deserves some help, and definitely didn’t deserve the hand that’s been dealt by these slum lords.

Heres a timeline of how things transpired from Kel:

“Friday June 7th I left my apartment around 12PM. I stayed Friday and Saturday nights at my partners house. I arrived home Sunday June 9th around 4:30PM. I entered my apartment to find it completely emptied and cleaned. Everything I own is gone. Including my brothers ashes, my dogs ashes, money, clothing, everything most people own.

I filed a police report Sunday evening and an in person report Monday June 10th. As well as spoke with lawyers. Police are unsurprisingly ignoring the entire situation.

Considering the apartment was cleaned so well, it looks as though this cleaner and ? entered my apartment and stole everything I own, and then cleaned the apartment. Neighbors asked her to stop and confirm they had the right place and she continued to load the Uhaul with my belongings. The building I live in consists of two apartments. My neighbor had moved out the week before. The cleaner was there Friday and Saturday to clean that apartment and it seems they instead cleaned mine.

My property manager has ignored me completely since this happened as well. I did run into her about a week later when I went to take some photos and she was cleaning the other apartment that was supposed to have been cleaned.

They are all keeping up with the lies to cover up what happened.

There’s a bit more to the story, these are just the basic parts of what happened. I don’t want to compromise certain parts of the situation.”

*for the record, all rent and bills have been paid on time and consistently, and this isn’t a case of eviction for Kel, or the neighbor involved*
