Keke, or Creamy as we lovingly call her, is my sister Stephannie's first cat as an adult and her emotional support companion. On the outside, Keke is a bit sassy, but when you look into her eyes, you see the sweetest girl. She’s playful, energetic, and cuddly on a normal day, and she means the world to my sister. Having grown up with many cats, Stephannie has a special bond with Keke, who has been by her side through the ups and downs of adulthood. I love Keke just as much, and seeing her in pain breaks my heart.
Three days ago, Keke stopped eating and became very weak. She hasn’t left my sister’s bed except to drink water, and she’s been nauseous and lethargic. Stephannie is a full-time teacher who works hard to provide for herself and Keke, but this emergency came out of nowhere. The vet says Keke needs X-rays and an ultrasound to figure out what’s wrong, but the costs are more than our family can manage right now. I recently lost my own pet in May 2025, so I understand the pain and fear my sister is feeling.
The funds raised will go directly toward Keke’s X-rays, ultrasounds, medications, and consultations to give her the best chance at recovery. We all love our fur babies and want to rule out any other illness before making any difficult decisions. Any help is appreciated, and we would be forever grateful for your kindness and support.
