My name is Keke Grayson, I am the first black transgenger athlete from San Diego to have been selected to receive a scholarship for basketball at Hope International University.Hope International University is also a Christian college and I am trying to break the barriers between religion and the stigma surrounding the LGBTQ community. I plan to major in business management.These past few years I have dedicated my life to basketball.. Because I’ve been bully for many years this has been a huge outlet for me, I never feel more free when I play ball. All my worries leave my body, It's an amazing feeling. I started playing my sophomore year of high school . I've been playing for 3 years strong. This has been a tremendous opportunity for growth and invaluable experience.As an incoming Freshman, I would like to spend more time focusing on my classes and basketball. Unfortunately, the financial burden may lessen my ability to stay focused on my courses. I would kindly appreciate your financial assistance to help further my education.
