Keith Jordan was a father, partner, community member, and a resident of Hyde Park. He often went by the name of Dub. Tragically, on Sunday night, Keith Jordan's life ended when he was shot. This is a loss that effects those who knew him personally as well as affecting the wider community that mourns the loss of another black man to gun violence. This gofundme has been created to ease the financial strain that comes when a life ends. Dub was a father to 3 children and a loving co-parent to Alicia. Together, they raised their 14 year old son who is a student at VLUS. We hope to raise money to support Alicia and Jayron during this time of grief. We also hope that we can shine a light on a life well lived and full of love.
This GOFUNDME's Purpose:
We are raising money to help off-set financial hardship caused by this traumatic loss for his family including his son Jayron and his son's mom Alicia.
This includes helping with
*long term medical care for his son Jayron, who has various medical conditions
*monthly bills
*rent
*other cost of living necessities since Keith's support was innumerable.
Keith always helped support in ways that he could.
