Help Keith Regain His Mobility and Independence!

Hi everyone,

We are reaching out to ask for your support in helping Keith regain his mobility and independence. Four years ago, Keith was diagnosed with Inclusion Body Myositis (IBM)—a rare, progressive muscle disease that causes weakness, loss of function, and severe mobility challenges. As IBM progresses, it makes even simple daily activities—like walking, standing, or getting in and out of a chair—increasingly difficult.

While insurance has covered a wheelchair for indoor use, it does not provide coverage for a more versatile, all-terrain wheelchair—one that would allow Keith to enjoy life beyond the walls of his home. Right now, his current chair is too large and heavy to transport, meaning he is confined to the house and unable to participate in outdoor activities with family and friends. He misses going to the park, attending family gatherings, and visiting the beach—things that many of us take for granted.

To help Keith regain his freedom, we are raising funds for:

✅ A foldable, all-terrain wheelchair – designed with Omni-directional tires to navigate different surfaces, allowing Keith to enjoy the outdoors again.

✅ A lightweight lift and ramp system – making it easy to transport the chair in and out of a vehicle.

✅ A lift shower chair – to improve his quality of life and help with daily living needs.
