HELP KEITH RECLAIM HIS LIFE AFTER BRAIN SURGERY

SAVE THE BOHEMIAN : Help Keith Recover + Reclaim His Life at Home from Brain + Oral Surgery

We are the family, friends and fellows of Keith T. Pollick. This fundraiser is to help our beloved and adored Keith recover and reclaim and continue to heal in the comfort and safety of their own home as they begin a new life chapter in New York City. Keith is a beacon of light and love and laughter in all our lives. We wish to help them in their time of financial need. For Keith, as a creative artist with a disability due to their brain aneurysm and on a fixed SSDI income, money can be tight, especially during a time of life on life's terms challenges as they enter this new period of change. We wish, as a community of blessed and grateful angels, to lend our support to our wonderful, brave, courageous and strong Keith through our contributions. The amount of your donation is secondary to the loving spiritual unity that unites us in being present for Keith as they have been there for us.

All funds donated will be used entirely and directly to help Keith :

• Pay back rent due to their landlord to avoid eviction in the near future.

• Continue to pay their rent each month ( Brooklyn, New York ) so they can plan the successful next chapter in their life including finding work they can do to supplement their SSDI.

• Stay in their current apartment where they have lived for the last 35 years as they assess, explore and consider possible new living arrangements.

• Help in their wellness recovery from major oral surgery that was necessary for their health and the continuing surgeries needed as the process goes forward. Their wonderful trusted dentist, whom is a longtime friend, has waived all their labor fees as a very generous gesture, but they do have to pay for their dentures + implants + any other dental needs.

• Give them the financial respite they need to apply to other helpful programs to aid them in the next chapter of their life.

• All remaining funds will be used to support their basic needs and related costs of living — such as food, electricity, gas, any extra medical + dental expenses, transportation to and from their doctors + dentists, as well as any further required physical/psychological therapies and treatments to help them achieve the most complete recovery they can during this period of rebuilding their new life in wellness + heath with a disability.

Since Keith’s brain aneurysm on the evening of Tuesday, April 28th 2020, in the midst of quarantine due to COVID-19 they have undergone on their 3 and a half year magical medical mystery tour :

4 Brain Surgeries ( the placement of 2 stents in their brain )

4 Brain Procedures ( to map + continue to monitor the success of the surgeries )

6 Rounds of Iron Replacement Intravenous Therapy due to the surgeries and their anemia.

Major Double Hernia Surgery.

The First Steps of Major Oral Surgery ( with next steps to come ).

A 6 Day Stay in the Hospital at the beginning of 2023 for an aggressive invasive infection.

Multiple Other Medical Procedures to insure his wellness and health and healing.

A 2 and a half year wait to receive their SSDI. ( which was recently stolen + they are now awaiting the resolution of from the Treasury Department before their funds can be sent out to them. )

We wish to give Keith the time and peace of mind to be without future financial fear as they undertake this brave new chapter in their life . . . to recover, to reclaim, to reinvent, to meet the new challenges and rebuild their life, one day at a time, just for today.
