Keith Mauro's battle with ALS

Back in Novemeber 2016 , my brother Keith Mauro ,  was having weakness in his foot which was getting worse.   Through months of extensive testing, Dr..'s ruled out other diseases which mimicked his symptoms. On March 30, 2017  Keith was given the devastating news that he has ALS / Lou Gehrigs Disease. Within  a couple of weeks, this horrible disease is progressing to where Keith had to be fitted for leg braces.   He is still working  and is struggling to do everyday tasks . Keith knows he can not do so for much longer;  he is weaker and more symptoms keep  occuring . His Drs. told him that the medical bills are going to be overwhelming. Unfortunatly,  his insurance will not cover much of his medical expenses.  including  visits to Drs., hospitalizations, medical equipment,  etc.  Keith is so kind,  giving , sweet, and above all, a  loving  father,  son , brother, uncle , brother-in law , and a sweetheart to Karen.  We are all so heartbroken. Knowing what Keith will endure makes it even harder for us.  With your help, love , prayers & support, we can help  Keith receive necessary medical care, lessen the burden,  and give him some peace of mind as he fights his battle against ALS .
