Keith is a retired father of five who has already faced more than many people do in a lifetime. Last year, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer. After going through treatment and receiving the incredible news that he was in remission, he chose to do something brave and deeply meaningful: pursue his lifelong dream of sailing the Caribbean with the hope of reaching Grenada. It was more than a trip. It was a celebration of life, freedom, and the chance to keep living fully after such a difficult chapter.

Keith made remarkable progress and reached Puerto Rico, but during what should have been a routine part of the journey, disaster struck. His boat's mast suffered a critical structural failure and crumbled midway up. To prevent the boat from capsizing, he had to remove most of the main mast. In the process, he lost the attached sail and another sail was badly torn. What should have been a joyful adventure suddenly became a stressful and costly setback.

This fundraiser is to help Keith keep his dream alive. Support will go toward the cost of running his small boat's motor and, if possible, replacing the damaged equipment with a refurbished mast and sail so he can continue safely.
