Help Keith Get Through Chemotherapy
Donation protected
In January of 2021, my dad, Keith Fairbanks, had a persistent sore throat. He isn't usually the kind of guy that goes to the doctor, but it was bad enough that he gave in and went.
Unfortunately, the news was not good. He has cancer at the base of his tongue. Thankfully, it was caught early, and it hasn't spread anywhere else in his body. His prognosis is good, but he still has to undergo months of chemotherapy and radiation.
He also has to do all of this while being an hourly retail worker who stands on his feet all day.
Pappy (what I call him) is not the kind of guy that takes sick days. But I know that if we could raise some money I can convince him that, for the first time in his life, he needs to rest and recover. The bills for his first few days of treatment are already in the thousands of dollars, and I really don't want him to have to worry about money while he is going through cancer treatment
I couldn't be a luckier daughter. This guy is my heart and soul, and my whole life he's given me everything he could. He is the most giving person I've ever met, and would give a stranger the shirt off his back.
I want him to have the best shot at beating this cancer and being around for me and my sister, his five granddaughters, two great-grandbabies and my dozens of cousins that call him Uncle Keith.

Ashley
