Hi everyone, my name is Kathy Cooper, and I'm reaching out on behalf of my brother, Keith Gulbransen, who underwent a lifesaving heart transplant earlier this year. This has been an overwhelming journey for him and our family. While we are incredibly grateful for the gift of more time, the recovery process has been long, complicated, and expensive.

My brother is self-employed, and since the transplant he hasn’t been able to work for most of 2025 which has taken a toll on his business. He has been in the hospital more than he's been home due to infections, falls and rejection concerns. The mounting medical bills, follow-up appointments, medications, and everyday expenses have created a heavy financial burden that he simply cannot manage alone. Stress is the worst enemy when it comes to the body healing.

Keith has always been generous. I’m starting this GoFundMe to help give back and relieve some of that financial pressure so he can focus fully on healing. Any contribution—no matter the amount—makes a meaningful difference. If you’re unable to give, sharing this page is also a tremendous help.
