Story:

My name is Susan Ericson, and I’m asking for your help to save my husband, Keith Ericson.

Keith has dedicated his entire life to serving and protecting others. For 29½ years, he has worked in law enforcement — a career he still holds today — standing on the front lines, answering calls in the middle of the night, and being there on people’s worst days.

At the same time, Keith spent over a decade teaching law enforcement at the College of the Siskiyou's, mentoring and inspiring future officers with the same values and courage he lives by every day.

Keith was an elementary teacher for many years here locally as well as a vice principle. He was an Eagle Scout and led many scout hikes and camping events. Bottom line- he has a heart for people.

Keith is a devoted husband, proud father to four children and two stepchildren, and a loving grandfather to four beautiful granddaughters. His family is his heart and his reason for fighting this battle with everything he has.

Now, he needs your help.

Keith is facing stage 3 esophageal cancer for the second time. We have been told there are no standard treatment options left. Our only hope lies in an off-label treatment in Reno, Nevada — a therapy not covered by insurance. Each round costs $30,000 out of pocket.

He has completed one round, but urgently needs another to keep fighting. Without it, our options run out.

We’ve never been the kind to ask for help, but the financial burden is overwhelming. The clock is ticking.
