In an effort to stave off infection, massive amounts of antibiotics were given. As can happen when large amounts of antibiotics are taken, Keith developed a secondary yeast infection. Unfortunately, the yeast infection has settled into his lungs and the prognosis for him is a 10% survival rate.

We are going to continue to fight the infection, and if he doesn't get better, he will be transferred to a hospital that's a 200-mile round trip for my son and me. I'm a recent amputee and have not been approved for social security yet. Travel expenses, medical expenses, and in the event that he isn't among the 10% that survive this type of infection, his cremation.
