Help Keith Carnes After Wrongful Conviction

Hello, my name is Keith Carnes and I was wrongly convicted of 1st degree murder and was sentenced to serve life without parole for a murder I did not commit. After serving 18 years and 7 months within the Missouri Department of Corrections the Missouri Supreme Courts overturned my conviction and ordered my release from prison.

On April 11th, 2022 I was released from prison and reunited with my family. Although this is wonderful for my family, supporters and friends for me my new found freedom is met with many financial challenges. Because the State of Missouri does not have a compensation law in place I will receive no form of compensation for the time I spent unjustly confined in prison.

I am raising money for help with clothing, housing, transportation, medical care, and accessories.
