Help Keith care for his family

Here is my story. First, I want to say that I am thankful for my support system and what I have done in life already. As I have gone through life, I have learned, I am not perfect, but I love learning my life experiences. I have always enjoyed helping others and at an early age, I knew I wanted to work with children.
I have a wonderful husband who has been my rock and continues to help build my confidence and works tirelessly to support our family! We have learned to work together and count our blessings each day! As we started to talk about starting a family, I was told that I have Polycystic Ovaries and it would be difficult to have children. Today, we are blessed, with 3 wonderful boys and one angel baby! We have been blessed with our children and we are instilling good morals and love for others.
The year 2021 was a challenge in general for all of us in our health: Robert had hernia surgery, James had abscess in his mouth and is now receiving orthodontist care, Frank had an acid reflux issue, Keith was in the hospital for sepsis and has had 3 major surgeries; urethra surgery and sinus surgery. Meanwhile I had carpal tunnel surgery, shoulder surgery and IUD placement! Also, during this time we had other family health crisis, my entire family had Covid, my parents had health issues and of course other life stuff happens. A couple weeks after the IUD placement I had a cyst rupture causing major pain sending me to the hospital. The CT scan started at my breast down to my torso. This is when the cancer was discovered. From this point I have been to many doctors’ appointments not just for me but, for my husband as well. He has been out of work for 4 weeks and we have had limited income during this time but, we have had lots of support from our family and friends! We couldn’t have done it without all of you! My cancer diagnosis is: Invasive Ductile grade 3 Breast Cancer Stage 2b, with higher chance in my lymph nodes (biopsy says no malignant but is abnormal needs to be removed for further biopsies). I am estrogen and progesterone positive! Plan of action for now is: First to start treatment to stop the spread, next will be to have surgery for a double myectomy. I will need to take cancer medication for 5-10 years to block the estrogen being produced in my body. As well as talking to my OBGYN to figure out the best option to shut my ovaries down without doing a hysterectomy. This is going to be a long road… some days I feel like I got this and other days I just want to cry and rest! I love seeing my family and friends! I just feel so blessed to have so many wonderful people in our lives! I just can’t thank you enough for helping our family during this long journey and being my cheerleader!
I AM NOT ALONE! Please join in my Support Squad! I AM LOVED AND BLESSD ONE DAY AT A TIME! Thank you for reading about the beginning of my journey! Let me know if you want to join my Facebook group to hear more as this journey takes off! Please keep those prayers coming!
