Hi, my name is Kathy and I'm fundraising to help Keith and Carla Sams rebuild their lives after losing everything in the Ford/Corkscrew Fire on August 16, 2021. They evacuated to the Springdale School, temporarily living in their tiny trailer, and receiving assistance from the Red Cross to meet immediate needs such as food and a generator. When they were able to safely return to their property, it was a total loss. Words cannot express the total devastation and destruction caused by a wildfire. While we are thankful for lives spared, a temporary roof over their heads, insurance that will cover part of their losses, we mourn with them the loss of their home, vehicles, family heirlooms, antiques, possessions that can never be replaced but will remain in their memories. I ask that you consider donating to help them rebuild their lives and replace the things that money can buy and that wasn't covered by insurance. Losing everything and starting over is something that I can't begin to fathom and hope to never experience. My heart breaks for them and I pray they will find peace and comfort knowing they have the emotional and financial support of family and friends.
