In the early morning hours of September 14, my brother Keith woke to the news that his apartment was on fire. Luckily he was not home at the time.

Fire did not make it into his unit, and thankfully so, as Marty, his daughter’s cat, survived the ordeal. His apartment sustained much water and smoke damage.

We know that folks want help Keith get back on his feet and we figure this will be the easiest way to help him out. With the current housing crisis, finding an affordable place to live will be his biggest challenge moving forward after this tragic event.

Much love and thanks!
