My name is Keisha Simpson. On Friday, August 23, 2025, my apartment caught fire. My family and I were able to get out safely along with our dog, but in the meantime, we lost everything, including our two cats.

We are starting over from scratch; all we own are the clothes on our backs. It's my fiancé, our 16-year-old son, our 16-month-old son, and myself who have been affected by this tragedy.
