It is believed that superheroes do not exist. Here at RDI, we’d like to beg to differ. Keisha Little embodies the essence of a superhero. Her strength, resilience, selflessness, and compassion are qualities she exemplifies every day. Her many roles consist of: a loving mother, a caring daughter, a selfless sister, and a kind coworker. However, her passion does not stop there. Ms. Keisha’s passion for Cosmetology inspired her to open her Beauty supply, specializing in hair and self-care. She started her own business when she noted the lack of representation for African Americans’ Beauty needs in Las Vegas. This black-owned business prides itself on a knowledgeable positive experience for everyone, as all are welcome in her store.

A'ZUMI Beauty is Ms. Keisha’s pride and joy, after her family, of course. Unfortunately, like many Superheroes, MS. Keisha is gearing up to fight an unexpected battle with meningioma. A meningioma is a tumor in the primary central nervous system. This tumor is located in her brain and has become a huge hindrance as it is large and debilitating. Removing the tumor is necessary and will require an extensive surgical operation.

While recovering, Keisha will be unable to do the things she loves, like caring for her family, working, and operating her business. We are reaching out in support of Keisha as she gears up to fight her toughest battle yet. We want Keisha to know that she is not alone. As she exemplifies her superpowers, she wears many capes. With our support, we’d like to wear a cape for her. We want to Keep A'ZUMI Beauty open as Keisha has worked very hard to start her business, and we know once she can return, she’ll continue running her shop. It is a community asset.
