Help Sweet Keira Continue Her Fight

My sweet girl Keira has been fighting a serious medical battle, and I’m reaching out for help because I’m running out of options.

A few weeks ago, Keira became very sick. What started as pancreatitis quickly led to IMHA, a dangerous autoimmune condition. Since then, she has faced complications like stomach issues, fluid buildup, and painful ulcers. We’ve had multiple emergency vet visits, medications, procedures, and long days of monitoring just to keep her stable.

So far, I’ve spent about $4,000 trying to help her, and I will continue caring for her for as long as she has a good quality of life. But her ongoing treatment has become more than I can manage alone.

If you know Keira, you know she is the sweetest girl with the biggest heart. She loves running through the bosque, wading in the Rio Grande, safely chasing motorcycles along the fence at her favorite park, and proudly being the little “alpha” to her two dog sisters. Even when she isn’t feeling well, her spirit is gentle, brave, and full of love.

I will not give up on her.
