Help Keiller live a better life

Donation protected

Keiller is currently fighting the fight of his life. He breezed through open heart surgery just over a year and half ago, only to be diagnosed with Brain Cancer 5 months later.  During the past 8 months he has had 2 surgeries, radiation and chemo treatments. This process has been extremely fatiguing, and now he is having trouble with his balance and walking.  He is currently at home waiting for additional treatments to start so he can continue fighting the cancer.

Keiller and Tracy's 4 level townhouse has stairs between almost every room and he is finding it almost impossible to navigate these stairs at this time. They have had to install specialized medical equipment to assist with his care. Keiller is almost out of sick time and he does not have long term disability.  The worry of his income ending soon is also a big stressor during this challenging time.

Those of you who know Keiller, first and foremost know he loves his family, his wife and two sons, they are his whole world. The other side of him is how much he loves to help others and not just a little. Many of you are well aware of the hours he has spent volunteering his time. Through the years he and Tracy have volunteered teaching scuba diving and covering first aid at local events in the community with St. John Ambulance.   Keiller eventually became a first aid instructor, with wilderness first aid becoming a passion. He taught many different groups, not only St. John volunteers but also members of the public, Scouts and many members of North Shore Rescue to name a few.  He loved being a part of the Boy Scouts with his boys Zachary and Keiran. He got his pyrotechnics license just so he could create the best magic campfire for the boys. He also arranged many memorable Scout trips, but one in particular was on a glacier where after they hiked for hours to the top there was pizza delivered by helicopter to greet them. Parents with Beavers would ask him if he was still going to be a Scout leader when their boys got there.
His reputation precedes him. Nothing is half way with Keiller.
In 2013 Keiller and Tracy bought motorcycles, their latest adventure,  and soon after they joined the Goldwing Road Riders Vancouver Chapter where they have met so many great friends.  After only being members for 3 months the Chapter needed a Director and Keiller stepped up.  He with the help of the other executives developed some of the best motorcycle rides in the Chapter's history.  A couple of years ago he did an Iron Butt challenge riding his Goldwing "Max" from North Vancouver to Moose Jaw in less than 20 hours, followed by a 12,000 km ride through 25 States with Tracy on the back.
Keiller also volunteered on the board  participating on many special projects in the LVCHA coop housing complex, where they have lived in for the last 19 years. If anyone needed help he is the go to guy!
He loves the outdoors, he loves his family and he loves to help others.

As anyone knows fighting cancer can be very expensive and is life changing.

Please help Keiller fight this fight at home for as long as possible.

Time is of the essence to  raise the funds.

Let's give back to Keiller!
