I am asking for help during the most difficult time of Yanet's life. Yanet was brought to the United States as a child when she was only 5 years old. She came here in 2002, and for the past 24 years this country has been the only home she has truly known. She grew up here, went to school here, and built her life here. Everything she knows—her family, her community, and her children—is here. Yanet is the mother of two beautiful children who are both U.S. citizens. They are her entire world, and every day she works hard to give them love, stability, and a better future. The thought of being separated from them is something no parent should ever have to face.
Right now, Yanet's life has been completely turned upside down. She is facing the potential
loss of her visa because of a misdemeanor that happened in 2024. Because of this, she is at risk of being separated from her children and losing the life they have built together. Her children need their mother, and she needs them. Their family belongs together. On top of this, Yanet also struggles with serious health issues. She suffers from severe diabetes that requires consistent medical care, treatment, and monitoring. Managing this condition is already challenging, and the fear of losing her legal immigration status in the US, and going to a country where she may not have access to proper healthcare or the medication she depends on is terrifying. Her health and her ability to care for her children would be at serious risk.
Mexico is not home for Yanet. She was just a small child when she left, and she does not know how to build a life there. She has no support system there, no stability, and no access to the life and care that her children and she rely on here. Yanet is fighting with everything she has to stay in the United States and keep her family together. Unfortunately, immigration legal cases are extremely expensive, and she cannot fight this battle alone. She needs help raising money to cover legal fees so she can have a fair chance to defend her case and remain with her children.
Any support you can give means the world to Yanet and her children. Thank you for standing with them and helping keep their family together.
