Dear people around the world, We are a farming community and a boarding school (foster home for some students)  in rural Latvia. We try to be self-sustaining to the best of our abilities. By growing and producing our own food and caring for our land, animals and home, we can harbour an environment that teaches a healthy and responsible relationship with nature to our students. However our heating system for our school buildings broke, which makes it impossible to teach, support and provide housing for our students.       We know times are difficult this year for everyone. Since we are in rural Latvia we have the opportunity to house some of our students and community members, thus drastically limiting their chances to be exposed to COVID-19, however, if we don't fix the heating this opportunity is gone.  We have found a heating system that meets our requirements and we have contacted the companies which would be able to install it and maintain it for years to come, but we are 12000€ short on our funds. The fund is necessary as soon as possible.  So we would like to ask you: Please help us buy a new heating system and keep us warm for years to come! Skolas vecais centrālapkures katls 17 gadus ir godam kalpojis līdz šobrīd vairs nespēj mūs apsildīt. Tāpēc ir nepieciešami 12 000 EUR jauna katla iegādei kopā ar uzstādīšanu. Šo summu mēs visi kopā varam savākt.
